Steel Drop Deck Trailers
In addition to steel main I-beams, this rugged steel/wood flooring construction features structural steel support in critical stress areas, crossbracing, and siderails resulting in a heavy duty, reliable, and durable flatbed trailer. The main rails have a capacity of 80,000 lb evenly distributed and a camber built in to eliminate sagging under heavy loads. For heavier applications, a 100,000lb frame rating package can be offered.
A variety of configurations and options are available to meet your specific requirements. Steel drop decks come in standard lengths of 48 foot and 53 foot with either tandem or spread axle configurations. We can also build them with three axles. Options include aluminum wheels and toolboxes, load-securing devices such as chain tie-downs, bulkheads, and lift axles.
