Aggressive styling meets power. Stout neck, three axles, and 41foot extension give the brute strength to haul up to 53,000 lbs (24 metric tons) of weight in one ISO 20 foot container. Slider positioning achieved by means of lock pin assembly that allows slider to index through holes in the frame rails. In the closed position, the chassis is ready for loading/unloading operations while in the extended position the chassis is set for road transport. The overall lengths are: 33 foot 6 inches and 41 foot respectively.
Chassis is designed and built according to Association of American Railroads (AAR), Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS), International Standards Organization (ISO), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Department of Transportation (DOT), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association (TTMA) standards.
The container chassis frame and main fabricated parts are made from high strength steel. Some of the standard components include 11R22.5 tires on 10 hole hub piloted wheels, spring suspension, antilock braking system (ABS), and two-speed landing legs. Several options to choose from.
Chassis can be stacked up to 3 high for power only transport
Notice: 20ft Tri-axle sliders and 20/40 Tri-axle slider chassis are not to be used with 20ft liquid tanks or 20ft dry boxes filled with liquid containers. Only use Chassis King Drop Frame ISO tank chassis for these type loads.
